Rev. Ernest Patton
District Pastor, District 1

Background

Ernest Patton was born in Alabama in 1955 and raised in a college town in South Carolina. He graduated from the University of Southern California with a double major in English Literature and Philosophy in 1978 and joined the Unification Church in Berkeley, CA, later that summer.

He worked in fundraising and witnessing programs, became a state leader for FFWPU USA and attended the Unification Theological Seminary. Subsequently, he worked in businesses. He was elected Pastor of the Northern Virginia Family Church (NVFC) in 2010.

Rev. Patton c serves as pastor of the NVFC and, since 2013; he has also served as the district pastor representative for District 1.

Ernest received the Marriage Blessing with Keiko Kohama from Naha-city, Okinawa on July 1, 1982.   They have four children and one precious and beautiful offering child.
