Jongsook Moon

Background

Jongsook Moon was born in 1965, in Seoul, Korea. She has an arts bachelor’s degree and two other Master degrees in fiber art from Ewha Womans University in Seoul, Korea and Cranbrook Academy of Art in Michigan. She worked as an artist and part-time instructor in fiber art at Seoul National University, Ewha Womans University, and Kyung Won University from 1994 to 2003.

She earned another Master’s degree in Religious Education in the Unification Theological Seminary in 2006. She lived in Virginia and helped the youth group before moving to Kodiak, Alaska in 2012 where she worked as the youth pastor. She later became the Pastor for the Kodiak Family Church in 2013 and continues to serve in this position.  

Jongsook received the Marriage Blessing Jinkwon Lee from Korea at the 36 Second-Generation Unificationist Couples’ in 1986. They have two sons.
