Everyone had a positive experience. Several were able to renew their faith in God, True Parents, and the Divine Principle.
Here are a few quotes from their reflections:
I think (though this workshop experience) God was trying to show me the hope and future of our movement. I’ve been having bad experiences with the church. I was really contemplating giving up my faith. I think God wanted me to see the basis of our church, the DP, from a deeper perspective and to see the promising BC’s who all have the heart to create a loving world.
I would recommend this workshop to others. I think it’s really important for BC’s, especially to really delve into the contents of the DP. Sometimes it’s easy to get sidetracked by all the negativity surrounding the church and all the internal conflict that is going on recently. So I think it’s important to understand what the DP teaches.
The point that impacted me the most was learning about Rev. Moon through Rev Compton and Mrs Kathy Hwang. It made me feel like Rev Moon should be my role model as well as making me feel like I want to learn more about him. Rev Moon made a lot of sacrifices for all of us because he really cares about us and loves us. Rev Moon was an outstanding personality and great heart for everyone.
I feel that if God wanted me to do something here, it was probably to reflect. Lately I’ve been very selfish. I was so concerned about myself and my future and my dreams. Now, I feel like I need to share my dreams with my family, my friends, myself (to know what I need to be passionate about) and with God.
Attending the workshop made me understand the Divine Principle so much. Before I only heard words that made sense, but now I feel like everything in the DP “Clicked” and finally made sense that I could resonate with.
