Third Korean Divine Principle Workshop Held at IPEC
The third Korean Divine Principle workshop was held at the International Peace Education Center (IPEC) in Las Vegas from April 13 to 16.
A total of 38 people participated from New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, California, Texas, and Nevada. The schedule was filled with lectures on the Divine Principle and tours to various important sites of the Unification movement.
Participant Bok-Im Kim, an Ambassador for Peace from Los Angeles, heard True Mother’s voice from True Parents’ photo displayed in the lecture hall on the first day of the workshop. She heard True Mother say, “Welcome! Everyone who attends this workshop are like the light of the world.” She also had a dream in which the True Parents embraced her so she could sleep well and be comfortable.
Byung-Kook Choi, a non-Unificationist, attended from Las Vegas. He read True Father’s book four times in 1990 while working as a construction company employee in Iraq during the war. After reading, he came to believe that True Parents are great individuals, prompting his coworker to give him the book. Afterwards, he immigrated to America and had the chance to meet True Parents in person 12 years ago. He attended this workshop and used this chance to make a decision for his life path.
“Through this workshop, many participants reflected upon themselves, and repented,” noted Rev. Ki Yeal Lee, Pastor of the Korean Evangelical Association (KEA) in New York. “It was a precious opportunity for them to resurrect and begin walking their paths with renewed hearts.”
