Children and Youth Religious Education Webinar
Spiritual or religious education is the process through which a child grows to achieve spiritual maturity. A spiritually mature person is someone who is in touch with God’s love, is a good member of the family as well as their community, society, nation and world, and is someone who has developed his or her creative potential. Whether we are a parent, a Sunday School teacher, a youth leader or a caring member of the church community, we all have a hand in supporting this process of growth.
Sign up today for a webinar on “Religious Education for our Children and Youth” presented by Myrna Lapres. The webinar will be held on Thursday, October 9, 2014 at 9:00 p.m. EDT and hosted by the national Blessing & Family Ministry. The purpose of the webinar is to understand how Sunday School teachers, educators and parents provide a foundation of learning about God, the history of God through the Bible, True Parents, our church and each individual’s own unique value.
From the webinar, attendees will gain: 1) a clear understanding of their role as Sunday School teacher/educator, 2) how to prepare for lessons, 3) ways to make lessons engaging and to create connection with the students, and 4) online resources and curriculum suggestions.
The webinar will also include practical tips for classroom management and Myrna will share her inspiration and knowledge from her years of working with children and youth.
