Some years ago, True Father stated ( as True Mother behooves us), if the First Generation doesn’t want to be left behind, it must cross the Red Sea WITH the Second Gen to receive a new spirit and a new heart.. something to that effect. So true…we First Generation cannot and must not rest on our laurels of the past no matter what our status may be.

I am very inspired by this testimony, Dr. Balcomb! It resonates with my own experience in Salt Lake City last week at the World Congress of Families, which I attended as a representative of WFWPI, UN Office. More than 3,000 pro-family individuals attended, with 40 or so exhibitors and a multitude of speakers and presentations. Over and over, they spoke of God’s image being both male and female — Genesis 1:27 — and they emphasized the importance of parents in the home together raising the children. The presentations focused on both spiritual and practical realities, offering statistics and facts bolstering their statements. I felt I could have been in a Family Federation event. It was warm, positive and filled with the truth I’ve learned from the Divine Principle. I really felt God was smiling and happy to see this gathering — and that True Father was, too. I came to the exact same realization you shared above:

“True Parents’ foundation is much, much bigger than you understand. Don’t even think that I’m only working in the Unification movement. I’ve been working throughout the world, and I’m ready to build my kingdom, and I’m already doing it…”

Thank you very much for sharing your positive insights! God is sooooo great.

This is a very uplifting perspective. Thank you. I also feel that we need to join forces with other faiths, even (maybe especially) those who feel God has called them through their teacher to establish a better world in the current age. What matters is that great love and goodness are being applied to heal our world and bring people to know God. And the credit will naturally accrue to the most loving and Godly in the end, even though they will not be seeking it.
