Unificationists Celebrate Day of All True Things
This week Unificationists around the world celebrated the 55th Day of All True Things, a Holy Day and a chance to celebrate the blessing of God’s creation. From the humble observance of a prayer and offering around the living room coffee table, to the spectacular community-wide event, different regions and families found unique ways to honor this special Unificationist tradition. Tell us about your celebration and we’ll be sure to share it here on familyfed.org this week.
Belvedere Family Church
The Belvedere Family Church celebrated the Day of All True Things at the Belvedere training center, where True Parents spoke so many times in the past.
Pastor Drissa Kone led the service, and the Holy Day address was given by Dr. Theodore Shimmyo. FFWPU USA President, Dr. Michael Balcomb, also shared with everyone about the recent visit of the FFWPU USA delegation to Korea where they met with True Parents and international leaders.
On Sunday, also at Belvedere, Unificationists and guests attended the public celebration of the Day of All True Things FamilyFest 2017.

The Washington, D.C. Family Church celebrated the 55th Day of All True Things on Sunday, May 28th. It was a glorious celebration with our members happy and filled with the spirit of joy. We began the service with the pledge service followed by an explanation of the significance of the Day of True Things, given by co-pastor Rev. Jean-Pierre Sonna, and a cake cutting ceremony. After watching the weekly update video and the benediction, we then had a couple of performances where brothers and sisters were happy to share their talent through songs and poem. We closed the celebration with three cheers of Eog Mansei led by second generation Unificationist, Hanta Catalan.

On a sunny Saturday morning, about 300 Unificationists gathered at the Los Angeles Family Church to celebrate the Day of All True Things and Anniversary of the Founding of HSA UWC.
The beautiful offering table was prepared by volunteers of parents and second generation Unificationist children led by Mrs. Yang, with pillars of symbolic “all true things” and meal served for True Parents.
At 10:00am, the Service began with the Cheon Il Guk Anthem followed by reciting of the Family Pledge. Rev. Young Tack Yang, District Pastor, gave a special report from his recent trip to Korea. He shared about the events and breakfast with True Mother, also the Yut game which his team won the first place! Now with True Mother’s coming to Madison Square Garden on July 15 officially announced, we all have a new hope for unity and victory towards 2020.

The Louisiana Family Church celebrated the Day of All True Things at the home of Pastor Monestere. We had a wonderful testimony of Randall Denham’s recent attendance of the four-day Divine Principle Workshop at IPEC in Las Vegas. Helenita Thomas explained about her dissertation in order to help Blessed Families. We also celebrated birthdays of Mr. Wendell Miller and James Monestere with a beautiful cake made by Helenita for both the Holy Day and the birthdays. There are several Unificationists doing Tribal Messiah activities visiting family in the States and Japan so we had a small, but spirited celebration.

The Salt Lake Family Church celebrated the Day of All True Things on Sunday, May 28, with a traditional offering table and short commemorative service. Then the congregation gathered at the nearby Holy Ground at Sugarhouse Park and did a prayer walk from there around a part of the park. Several stops were made along the way: to sing, read True Parents’ words on the meaning of the holy day, and offer payers in English, Korean and Spanish. After the prayer walk everyone returned to the church for fellowship during lunch.
