Hyojeong Youth Weekend

Hyojeong is a gathering of youth and young adults from across the nation to strengthen our identity as young Unificationists and connect with our True Mother. Join us in the heart of NYC for a weekend experience of fellowship, enrichment, and inspiration. We hope to see you there!

(floor seating, center of stadium) for Saturday’s event at Madison Square Garden.*

  • Who is eligible to attend?

    Young adults aged 18-39 (High School graduates and over) are eligible to attend.

    What is the weekend schedule?

    The tentative schedule is as follows:

    Friday:

    • 12:00pm: Lunch at Manhattan Center for those who can come early to learn the dance for True Mother
    • 1:00pm: Registration/Dance Practice
    • 3:00pm: Opening Ceremony
    • 4:30pm: Sharing with Sun Jin Nim
    • 6:00pm: Dinner at Manhattan Center (pizza!)
    • 7:00pm: “Building Bonds” – An evening of getting to know one another and setting intentions
    • 8:30pm: Dance Performance Practice
    • *Young adults responsible for their own lodging*

    Saturday:

    • 8:00am: Breakfast at Manhattan Center (catered by Panera)
    • 9:00am-12:00pm: “Connecting To Our Roots” – Exploring True Parents role in the modern world and in my own life
    • 12:00pm: Lunch at Manhattan Center (catered by Subway)
    • 1:00pm-5:30pm: True Mother at Madison Square Garden (floor seating)
    • 6:00pm: Dinner at Manhattan Center (catered by Chipotle)
    • 7:00pm: “Elevation” – An evening of uplifting music, prayer, testimonies and sharings.
    • *Young adults responsible for their own lodging*

    Sunday:

    • 6:45am: *optional bus ride to Belvedere from Manhattan Center*
    • 8:00 am: Breakfast at Belvedere (McDonaldsli>
    • 9:00 am: Victory Celebration with True Mother at Double Tree Hotel
    • 11:00am: Closing Program
    • 12:00pm: Optional Picnic Lunch at Belvedere
    • 1:00pm: *Optional bus back to NYC*

    The Young Adult Pass is $70.

    These tickets have been discounted at 50% to support our youth in attending. If you would like to make an additional donation, we invite you to do so!

    What lodging options are available for participants?

    The New Yorker Hotel is offering discounted rates. Click here for reservation information. Rooms are limited so reserve soon!

    In addition, if you look on sites like Expedia, there are several other hotels in the area such as the DoubleTree, Hotel Pennsylvania, and the Courtyard by Marriott with comparable prices.

    We are not coordinating lodging for young adults, however, if you’re looking for others to share a hotel room with, we invite you to fill out this form and check responses here and coordinate together.

    If attending with a youth camp, the cost is $20. Tickets are being sponsored by FFWPU USA headquarters due to extra travel fees. If you would like to make an additional donation, we invite you to do so!

    If attending from your local community, the cost of the weekend is $120.
