CSW 40-Day Spiritual Workshop Report

The Opening Ceremony for the first Cheon Shim Won 40-Day Spiritual Workshop ever held in America, was held in Las Vegas, Nevada at the HJ Heaven and Earth Training Center on Sunday, October 27, 2024 at 3pm.
The ceremony was presided over by Dr Ki Hoon Kim, President of Cheon Shim Won, USA. Additional welcoming remarks were given by Dr Jin Hwa Chung, Vice President of Cheon Shim Won, and Dr Andrew Compton, DP Lecturer and Pastor of the Las Vegas Family Church. The Emcee was Sun Jin Dada and the prayer was offered by one of the participants, Jason Hallal.
The workshop participants gathered for the ceremony included 23 young men and women from Korea and Japan and 17 from the United States – a total of 40. In his remarks, Dr Kim explained to the young participants how historically significant it is that they---who represent next generation youth from the three Providential nations of Korea, Japan, and America--- have come together to offer these 40 days for spiritual training.
It has been many years since the 40 Day Divine Principle Workshops True Father initiated in America, have been held. Now, with True Mother’s blessing, in the age of Cheon Il Guk, the first 40 Day Spiritual Workshop has begun. This special workshop, centered on the Cheon Shim Won---the Cheon Shim Won that True Mother personally established--- has the providential significance of building a strong spiritual bond among the three nations for the victorious expansion of Cheon Il Guk.
Central to the 40-Day Program will be daily Cheon Shim Won Prayers—morning and night--and Chan Yang Sessions. Personal Ansu and individual prayer in the CSW Prayer Room will also be available to the attendees.
In addition, the 40-Day Program will include presentations by many elders and respected speakers from around the nation and world, including Cheon Shim Won Leadership: Dr Ki Hoon Kim, Dr Jin Hwa Chung, Ryuichi Kishimoto and Mr Ducksoo Kim, President of the Family Federation USA: Rev Demian Dunkley, DP Educators: Dr Hwang, Dr Chang, Professor Joo, Dr Kambashi, Dr Compton, Juhwan Kim, Dr Jin Chun Kim and Leaders of UPF, WFWP, PWPA, and ACLC, as well as WCLC.
Besides having deep Cheon Shim Won experiences and receiving up-to-date education, the participants will join in several exciting Pilgrimages to visit sites that were meaningful to True Parents and had been visited by them during the four years they lived in Las Vegas: Hoover Dam and Lake Mead, Grand Canyon, Sedona and Death Valley, among them.
This workshop will set the standard for 40-Day Spiritual Workshops and in so doing, create a place where the youth of all generations and nationalities, can strengthen their spiritual lives and connect in heart with True Father in the spiritual world and True Mother on earth.
The Ceremony concluded with three cheers of Ok Mansei.
