FFWPU North America President Demian Dunkley’s Statement on the Passing of His Holiness Pope Francis

“I send my deepest condolences on the passing of His Holiness Pope Francis, having completed his life’s work on his final Easter Sunday, just the day before. A servant leader, Pope Francis dedicated his life and papacy to the humble service of God. His relatability and compassion inspired not only his over 1 billion religious followers, but non-believers as well.

Holy Mother Han said that, ‘All…faiths have one purpose; they all share the same will to serve and attend the Absolute Being, our Creator.’ Pope Francis exemplified a life of attendance to God.

In 2019, Tageldin Hamad, International President of the Universal Peace Federation, and a delegation met with Pope Francis inside the Vatican. During the meeting, the Pope spoke of the importance of peace and of the family, values which are at the core of Family Federation’s mission.

We pray for his peaceful ascension into the loving embrace of God.”
