Hyojeong CheonBo Event Inspires Huge Crowd

“We had many new guests at this experience, and they testified to how powerful the CheonBo event was,” said YCLC National Director Joshua Holmes during an FFWPU USA leaders’ meeting on July 26. “It was a very intergenerational event, and there was a spiritual phenomena taking place, which is the key to rebuilding America.”

On July 23 and 24, some 1,200 people of all ages attended the Hyojeong CheonBo special event at Belvedere in Tarrytown, New York. Earlier this year, True Mother designated the Belvedere property as one of two new CheonBo training branches in the USA, with the other being True Parents’ former residence in Las Vegas. Participants liberated and blessed their ancestors during the event, and took part in chanyang sessions, a wish paper ceremony, and education from various Unificationist leaders.

“It was really amazing,” said Holmes. “More than the heat [outside], it was spiritually hot and very exciting.” Holmes and other participants said their experience reflected True Mother’s remarks in April, where she said, “The Family Federation and Youth Federation should unite centering on Cheon Shim Won internal training and move forward together. As elder and younger brothers, they need to go forward in unity. Therefore, spiritual phenomena will take place, and we will resurrect and rebuild America.”

More than 400 young people also participated in a youth education workshop during the event. The workshop focused on the spiritual realm and included a lecture, video presentation, and panel Q&A session. “This brought a lot of healing and clarity,” said Holmes, who noted True Mother’s emphasis on reviving the faith of young people to rebuild the country. “Dr. Kim, the president of Cheon Shim Won USA, also gave a powerful message that really shared True Mother’s heart and what she is longing to convey to all of us. He shared a lot about jeongseong and devotion, spending a lot of time in prayer and doing a 40-day condition to lay the foundation for all of this to happen.”

“I felt it was a significant shift in terms of the providence and being able to do this event at Belvedere,” said FFWPU USA President, Rev. Naokimi Ushiroda. “With True Mother appointing leadership and a CheonBo branch, as well as Cheon Shim Won in America, this means that a new era of spiritual connection is coming to America.”

Many participants felt inspired and uplifted throughout the program. For Holmes, an important takeaway came from Dr. Chung Sik Yong, Regional President, FFWPU North America. “He explained that we cannot keep [CheonBo] to ourselves,” said Holmes. “This is a spiritual experience not just meant for Unificationists, but for all of our guests and throughout our New Life campaign.”

Multiple clergy couples participated in ancestor liberation, too, offering their own donations. “This is an amazing advancement in the providence,” said Holmes. “They are laying the groundwork for future clergy to complete CheonBo, which is True Mother’s great wish.”

Unificationist leaders said they are now exploring ways to further develop and enhance the CheonBo content so that it’s easier for the audience to receive. “If we work together with the spirit world centering on the CheonBo event, we can really break through with our witnessing goals,” said Dr. Yong. “This was a very beautiful event, and thanks to True Mother’s love and grace, we were able to bless our ancestors up to 430 generations ... and share her love and care for our younger generation.”
